Steam on the TV harmful?

Hi does anyone worry about Steam from cooking and the TV mounted above the kitchen counter. Coffee pot under it and that is the area that I use plug in appliances. Griddle, Fry Daddy & such. DH worries about the steam.

Yeah we have the hood vent but that's at the other end of the counter area.

I open a vent and run it when cooking or steaming up the place. Gather enough steam to condense on a surface and then run into the inside of any electronic (like a TV) is asking for trouble. Look at how much is gathering on your windows. If it is close to that one the top of your TV near the vents you are risking a short. Perhaps a fire, but at a minimum ruining your TV.
