Stove next to couch in class C's

We are looking at making the jump from a pull behind to a driveable. The Class (A or C) is not as important as function for us and our three kids. Two six year olds and a 3 year old.

Anyway, are we worrying to much about the stove being next to the couch in just about all Class C's?

What have other families considered?

Check out Forest river Forrester 3051s floor plan, ( love mine by the way) the stove is not near the seating areas.

What's the issue? I must be missing the problem. My kids are 10, 9, 6. Have had 2011 3170DS for 3 years. Kids were 7, 6, & 3 then.

Look at the 3010DS. The kitchen /stove is on the opposite side of the couch

I don't think the issue is age related. I did not like cooking next to the sofa, period. Newest MH has kitchen on opposite side of coach from sofa and dinette. This is a much cleaner arrangement.

We had X'd every floorplan with the stove next to the couch. 1, we like to cook, a lot, inside and out. So, it was obvious that something would get on the couch. 2, kids easily getting too close to stove. We ended up with the 3121 Forester for that reason. Stove next to any furniture is just not a good design in our opinion, in any coach.

At least in Heaven, RVs will be perfect, and I won't have to keep fixing them.
