Tires and more

First the question: has anyone changed tires on their MH from 225/70-16 to 255/85-16? Essentially reducing the number of rpmís from 734 to 658 per mile for about a 10% increase in (hopefully) MPG. If so, what were the results.
I need new tires for my F150 pick-up and Iím thinking of upgrading the MH to 235/85-16 and putting the 225ís on the pick-up. The 235ís will be capable of carrying more weight and that along with the increase in MPG (hope) will be a plus. What Iím looking for are negatives. Iím aware of the argument about the use of more HP to rotate larger tires and Iím ready to cope with that situation should it prove true. Iím thinking the ride quality might be compromised. What have I not factored in?
