Toad advice needed

Hi everyone. I am starting to seriously think about towing a car. I hope to escape some of the New York winter and the cost of renting a car for 1-2 months maybe too expensive.
I am looking for a Chevy tracker or an older jeep liberty or crv. The car will be used only for towing because none of my current vehicles can do towed 4wheels down and we will not be getting rid of them. Plus,The older models seem to be a little smaller than the newer ones.
Also Camping world is currently advertising big installation discounts $149.00 on brakemaster direct towed car braking system or the road master invisibrake and install of tow bar and brackets. I have not checked the actual price of these products but I would like hear if people are satisfied with cw install.
Thanks, Debbie

We tow 4 wheels down but for a snow bird trip only driving to one destination and staying for a while I'd consider a tow dolly. Selection of car is easier and setup is almost simple. No brake system or transmission problems. Almost any small front wheel drive car will do. Just try to get a pullthru at intermediate stops.

I agree with RamblerGuy. It sounds like you'll only be towing for the snowbird part of your Rv-ing. You can tow just about any vehicle you want with a dolly. If you think you'll be needing a "toad" for other travels, then you might consider getting a vehicle which can be flat towed.
