I am always amazed when these topic of "clogs" , "paper vs no paper",
"what kind of paper"....etc comes ups.

The advice that makes me buckle over with laughter the most is "no paper" down the toilet...and save it in a pail.

Gives a whole new meaning to "potpourri"...yikes !

Hot (boiling?) water is supposed to work well.

On our 5r there are 2 - 45 bends and a short piece of 3" pipe before it hits the tank. We run about 1/2 bowl of water with each flush that contains solids and TP. Coming up on two years with this RV, no black tank trouble. On our previous Cougar 5th wheel the drop from the toilet was straight into the tank.

Costco sell an 'add on' Bidet, called the "BIO- Bidet Elite 3". i have been trying to redesign my Thetford Aqua magic to accept the add on bidet, of course this would only work on city water as water pump doesn't have enough pressure. I have spoken to the engineers at Bio Bidet, but the market is to small
with a bidet you would use alot less paper; and baby wipes, which will kill a macerator pump

Now we know why they put sinks in the bathroom.
