Tow/Haul button not working

Just recently tried the Tow/Haul button and found it not working at all. Should it work with engine running at idle, or do you have to underway as I was when tried?

Anyone know if there is a separate fuse for this feature? I'm not experiencing any failures of anything else with the Ford dash features.

FYI.........2008 Ford chassis on our Georgetown 330TS.

Thanks

If this is a standard Ford setup, the Tow/Haul button locks out overdrive. A light should appear on the dash. Nothing else is noticeable.

The Tow Haul is the same on the F250, a light shows on the dash and it locks out overdrive. You run at a higher RPM in each gear. Less trans shifting. That is what I found.

Tow/haul does NOT lock out overdrive this this year of vehicles. It just reprograms the shift points. You will eventually get into OD once speeds/rpms are reached.

To the OP as soon as you start the vehicle you should be able to push the tow/haul button and a light should appear on the dash. If no light, the light could be burnt out or the function not working. And you can engage the tow/haul at any time.

Does anyone have the fuse layout for the fuse block underneath the driver's feet on the inside firewall for F53 chassis in my motorhome?

I'd like to check if I have a blown fuse for the Tow/Haul because I don't get a light on the dash when I push the Tow/Haul button on my gear selector.
