275ULSBS Ground Clearance

I ordered an Ultra 275ULSBS.
Looking at one on the dealers lot, the ground clearance may be a problem for me.

Anyone have any ground clearance issues?

Anyone ever have their Ultra lifted about 4”?

Thanks

My 16UL Ultra Work & Play is only 21.5 feet long overall. It has the same suspension and axles (5k) as the larger Work & Plays. Even with the shorter length, I still have to be careful backing it into my driveway (has a slight incline) or pulling into some gas stations. I'm sure other Work & Play owners (especially those who own longer W&P's) will chime in. In any case, I did notice there are two bolt openings where the suspension shackles bolt to the frame. Mine is bolted to the lowest opening. The higher opening would provide an extra 1 - 1 1/2" of ground clearance. Not much, but might be helpful.

I had the dealer reverse the axle on the leaf springs on our 25 ft. W&P It gives a lot more ground clearance. Just pulled it from Snow Lake, NM to Winston, NM with two four wheelers in it. If you are familiar with that road you will say We are nuts! Pulled it with my 2005 F250 6.0 four wheel drive. Worked great but still a major challenge.

We also custom ordered ours and had the dealer flip the axels during the build...so glad we did, since we drive a lot in the mountains and on bad roads.

My UL275 which is 33' is set on top bolt holes and I have plenty clearance, at least as far as I can tell, but I'm the only one driving so I have not had the chance to watch the trailer pulled into the back yard
