30WR Double Step Install

The 30WR single step is too high so we had to use a step platform.

I found a double step at a RV Parts Store and decided to upgrade.

I had to grind the welds off the single step and weld on the new double step.

The double setp all folded up.

Thinking of replacing the manual 3 step on our 5er with an electric one. Just can't bring myself to parting with $725+ for the conversion.

That 24" about the same price I paid. Would be nice if you could get it for free shipping... As heavy as these steps are it might cost a bit to ship..

I would give a RV supply store in your area a try. I got mine at a RV supply store in Idaho Falls when I was passing through but I have seen the same step at one of our local RV supply stores for a few bucks less.

Thanks for an advise. That would be the last thing on my list to do. I just got my used 2007 W&P a week ago, so there many more important thing to take care first! Like brakes not working... just fixed electrical tong jack...

1l243, what model number is the Delta tongue that you have? I've been looking for one to fit in my generator tongue grate of my 2011 30WR but can't find one that will fit. Any help would be appreciated! Tom.

Tom I can't find the model number on mine but I am sure it is the same as this one on Amazon. Mine is Bright Aluminum Diamond Plate and 48" wide in the back which makes it a pefect fit for the Generator Rack. Free shipping is nice

Amazon.com: Delta Pro 416000 48" Long Bright Aluminum Trailer Tongue Truck Box: Automotive

1l243, thanks for getting back with me. I had seen the 416000 online and I know it is 48" across the back but it was smaller in the front area, only 25". The front of my grate is 30 1/4". This is mostlikely the one I will end up getting since I can't find one that will fit the exact dimensions of the generator grate. Many thanks!!!
Tom.

Tom that is the same dimension as mine. You will be surprised how well it fits. It is a little short in the front but with the Gen Rack also being tapered you hardly notice it.
