A/C and heater?

A little late but I just remembered an issue I had in Dec. I have a 2012 30WPT. When I run my gas heater the overhead a/c fan turns on. It seems to battle the heater especially when its 30 outside. Cool air blows out of the top vents and hot air out of the floor vents. I have to turn the breaker off to the a/c to get toasty. Anyone else have this issue? Is it supposed to work that way for some reason?

If your controller is a small square with a LCD in the middle it's called the single Zone LCD Thermostat. When you press the on/off Mode button it goes through fan/cool/furnance and the temperature is adjusted with the + or -. When you are in fan mode press the + or - until you see "au" (auto). Otherwise the A/C fan will stay on in either hi or low speed when you use the heater. Hope this helps.

That's makes sense because the A/C and fan used to cut off when it hit temp also. But I thought I flipped through the settings and only remember hi and lo. I'll have to check it again. You might have resolved two problems because now I have to finish my RV A/C outlet hook up on my shed to see if you are right. THANKS! I'll let you know!
