Diamond plate installed

I brought the new WP18 home and noticed afew rock chips on the front of the unit that I picked up during the 200 km drive. I have mud flaps but apparently not enough. I bought a 4' x 8' sheet of aluminum checker plate (diamond plate) 0.065" thick and had it sheared to width. I used #6 s/s 3/4" Robertson screws with finish washers every 11-12" along the outside and 2' centres in the middle of the sheet. I sealed around the top, sides and screw holes with Sicoflex marine adhesive / sealant. Easy. The leading edge of the toy hauler is rock-proof now.

Also mounted a 60" storage box on the front rack (which I had to offset to accommodate the two 6V batteries).
