Looking at the WPT18EC

Looking at this unit; Pricing is 16K to 24K??? Not a "cookie cutter" TH and that is good. How are they holding up? I need the good, bad and ugly on this unit...
Thanks, Bill Hunter; Prescott, Arizona. AMTRACS@cableone.net

me too

I am seriously considering this model too. It looks like something I could load my Harley and camping gear, propane, etc. and pull easily with my 2011 F150. Dealers and RV show peole keep trying to get me in a WLA30 or similar with " F150 can tow this no problem". I hooked one up and weighed it dry and I exceeded trucks RAWR by alot. That was with a WDH. No way I could load that thing up and be within my GVWR.

next year

I want it to carry our FLHX and/or Razor and stay onboard. I would be pulling with a 2012 Ram 1500 R/T (Hemi). Even found one that is HD Black (factory painted) but have to wait to see what happens with all the BS in DC before buying anything right now...

I have had my 18 EC for about a year. Last year we went from south Florida to South Dakota, Colorado, and more with my Harley Road Glide Ultra in back. Total of about 7,000 miles . Worked out really well for us. Had a problem in Arkansas where leaf spring broke and had to be towed to dealer. Forest River warranty treated us very fair and took care of everything. Currently we are back in Las Vegas with bike in back.

Our criteria was to find smallest unit that we could use bathroom, kitchen and sleep without taking bike out while traveling. The 18EC was the only one that worked for us.

We pull with my F150 Ecoboost which is a pleasure to tow with. Any other questions, feel free to ask.

That sounds great, we will be towing with my F150 5.0. We did get the 18EC. Plan on trying our first trip the end of April, (short camping trip). Looking forword to not sleeping in a tent. We wanted something small too. I am hoping for many years of service. Thanks
