I installed one in our Keystone Sprinter a couple of months ago to replace a non-powered vent. I used butyl tape between the flange and the roof (as the directions called for on a rubber roof) then covered the screws and sealed around the edge with Dicor. Putty tape is used if the roof isn’t rubber.
The roof was about 4” thick and the inside trim ring covered fine. Most of the work was removing the old vent without damaging the roof covering and cleaning the old sealant before installing the new one.
I can’t help you on the wiring. I had to fish wires. It’s a real pita fishing wires in these trailers. Sometimes impossible.
