a check list

for now
a check list is a good idea
most of it will be in your head before long
before I (we) take off
I do a ((slow walk around)) from a little distance away
I can see underneath and on top of everyTHING
makes it easy to check for

low or dragging chains, vents left open, wires hanging
levelers not up, tires proper inflation, lights etc etc

Madelle,
Welcome to the world of RVing!

One of the best suggestions is to do your "trial run" at home. Camp in the yard. You will quickly learn the RV and you will realize all the "stuff" you never knew you needed.

If you're lucky enough to have a campground close to you, try that one first before going on an extended trip. You get the full impact and there are usually very friendly helpful people around to answer your questions.

Thanks

I just got back from my first trip out with my new EC18 WP. I wanted to thank everyone for all the suggestions on how to prepare. I had a blast at the local campground for the first time out. I can't wait to go back out!
