new work & play

We bought a 2017 25 wb two days ago and have been altering and changing and modifying nite and day since then . We moved the sofa to the rear , installed the dinette table over the wheel wells were the sofa was , made two cubby hole nite stands for T-shirts and unmentionables , my wife will not let me call them underwear , mounted my Honda 3,000 is on cage in front , mounted my 3,500 invertor , two six volt batteries , but made a box for four .
Whew , our house is supposed to close on July 8th , if it does we are gonna come around and dry camp in yalls yard , please leave the lite on !
Why a Work and Play , we ain't got no toys . For the rugged frame and capacities . My wife weighed 86 pounds when I married her 46 years ago , she is now up to 94 lbs , I needed something that would take the weight ! This is our 15th RV in 35 years !

Pulling with a 2014 Ram CTD long bed . We have a homemade topper on the pickup with tracks to hold kayaks . We work craft shows all over the south and our product fits in the topper . We spend many nites in Wal-Marts while driving to and from our events . At the events we park in " vendor parking ", usually some vacant lot in a lumber yard or fairgrounds . One of our shows we park in a cemetery .
We are considering going out of the craft business , its kinda easy money if ya like working with wood . We would like to travel fulltime some .

Love to see some pictures of you mods/additions.
Anyway, enjoy the heck out of it. You don't need to explain to us why a W&P!

The versatality of the toyhauler layout is the best. My garage area is used for general workshop and a keyboard music studio, and guest bedroom. Even with some of the flaws of the basic design I still like the W&P for the reason the OP mentioned, high cargo capacityand robust construction.
Have fun.

Just bought a new 2017 25 WAB. Had a 18 EC and wanted the front bedroom. I like it a lot after ironing out a few things wth the dealer. Factory has been very good in getting things up to par.

Would love to see pictures. Include the wife, please! LOL

P.S.
I am going to admit........I know NOTHING about A) Toy Haulers or B) work and play. I don't even know what a Work and Play is, or what they look like inside. I sure hope to be able to "tour" some different style campers at Goshen. Sorry to be a goof, but I just never looked at any of those, and don't know anyone that has them. Not that I think I bought the wrong thing.........just curious and the ones I've seen look really cool. I DO have a bunch of toys........LOL....... but until they make one that a 20' bass boat will fit in, or a big ole Kawasaki Teryx SxS, I guess I'll let DW pull that stuff and tag along behind me.

They are a toy hauler company bought by FR a few years back that are built to take the rough loads we expect from a toy hauler. The frames are hands down, best structurally built for the $.
