this particular compressor has a 4" wide 5/16 round steel handle loop on the back of the tank (top in the photo). that is hooked over a hanger bracket I fabbed up, the ratchet strap only holds the compressor to the back wall.
I also relocated, and added a second battery. they are now on mounted on an additional shelf system that is in front of the landing gear hydraulics, out of the way of the control solenoids and wiring. I left enough room to disconnect the cables and remove them for service or storage when needed. next on the list of upgrades, is to get the air comp 120-vac feed permanently wired, and plumb the 1/2" industrial copper tubing to the garage area. Back there i will mount a hose reel to the ceiling near the door for quick access, and an other outlet above my tool boxes in the front of the garage.
