Porch Light

I have a newly acquired 18LT.....2008. It doesn't have a side door outside light. Is this something that can be added using wiring that may already be in the door frame?
thanks.

I have a 06 28BR next to the side door when you walk in to the left there is a cabinet above the sink with a switch for the inside light and also a switch for the outside light.
Do you have a switch for the inside light.

Just a single switch on the right side of the range hood cabinet.

Change out the switch to a double.
Then run a wiring along the inside of the cabinet (assuming there is a wall cabinet next to the door) to the proposed location of the light. Just have to drill through the wall to get the wiring to the light.

Can also fish a line from an existing light fixture to the proposed light location. The roof supports are metal and either 16 or 24" OC.
Loosen the screws that attach the ceiling to the roof supports helps.

went to General RV..got the outside light assembly and switch with bezel. Some adhesive backed tubing from Lowes. Tapped into the overhead light switch for power and hid the wire in the tube behind the trim above the entry door.

Looks factory...something really needed after using the trailer a few times.

thanks for the help.
