Put away for the winter
It's that time of year again. Winterized the W&P. Put dryer sheets everywhere and cotton balls with spearmint oil on them. Critters don't seem to like the smell. So it will sit until late February assuming I take my annual trek south for 3 weeks.

Sad for our northern friends. We hardly ever have a cold weather day here in NE Florida. We had 2 days last winter in the high 20's. Of course, come summer, we will be heading north cause the heat is bad for us old folks.

We have one more weekend camp planned. Looking forward to the weekend but already thinking about missing our TT for 5 months after she is winterized.

I might be in your area this coming March. Not sure yet.
I hear you on heading north in the summer. I lived in Southern New Mexico for many years. I miss allot of living there but summer isn't part of that.

I live in the"banana belt" of the Sierras at 7,100 ft. elev. , a little over 300 miles north of Los Angeles. With family in sunny LA, I travel there frequently. I'm trying to hold off winterizing as long as possible- at least thru Thanksgiving. Crossing my fingers on no big cold fronts til then. I'm doing all my "tricks" for the cooler nights now.

Winterized ours and put it away for the winter. Might be a long seven months.

Spearmint oil?
I've heard of peppermint oil but spearmint is a new one for me.
