Replace that MURPHY mattress

Has anyone replaced the mattress on the murphy bed?
The present mattress is 52 X 74.
A full is 54 X 75.
I wonder if it will fit.
Or should I spend the money on a mattress topper?

(IS THIS THING ON?)

I would check with the factory or get a four inch foam cut.

Update on this...I have been doing some research/looking around & find that this is a complaint a lot of people have with any & all RV mattresses.
Most seem to go with a quality 2-4 inch mattress pad & find that the problem is resolved. I am home now for a few weeks before heading back out so I am going to get one.
Thanks for the input.

Sorry for the late reply, I haven't been on the forums in a while. I have 2014 30MBS with the queen size murphy bed. I tossed the factory mattress. I added some 1X8" pine boards across the metal frame, then set a sheet of 3/16" plywood on top of that. I then added a 4" memory foam topper, and a 1" memory foam topper. It still folds into the wall and travels just fine, but is much nicer to sleep on.

We had a mattress custom made and it is great, FR mattress was a back killer. New mattress is thicker then the stock one, moved the pivot point on the frame and it works fine. Just like sleeping at home. Next thing is to get rid of the chain supports and install folding legs under the frame.
