Trailer entry door

When I open the door to my unit, the screen door stays in place requiring it to be opened also. Other trailers I looked at, (not work and play) the screen door stayed attached to the outer door. Is this normal to have to open both doors separately?

No it is not normal. It sounds like the "catch" on the main door is either broken or needs to be adjusted so it grabs the screen door.

Both doors should open at the same time. Like camper1999 said something is either broken or needs adjustment. Have you tried having somebody inside and looking at the mechanism while somebody outside opens the door?

I have a 2013 Work and Play and had to adjust the latch on mine for the screen door. Works fine now.

I can find no where that the main door "attaches " to the screen door. My other camper had a hook, like a chicken beak, but this unit does not. Any other ideas? I bought this at a dealer 100 miles away, but live within 3 miles of a work and play dealer, however they are reluctant to do any work on it since I did not buy it there.
