X-chocks use

Seems like we're noticing more movement in the camper, so yesterday I purchased a set of X-Chocks. I installed them and it seems to help a little, but not like the amazing reviews I have read. I have them snug but still feeling movement. People report all movement is gone while using.

How tight do I have to make these things? I am afraid that if I go too tight I may damage my tires or do something I don't want to happen.

I am thinking for my next trip I may add another set of scissor jacks near the axles. But for now I would appreciate your thoughts on the X-chocks.

Thanks

The X Chocks will stop the front to back motion, but will do nothing for side to side or up and down motion. JT Strongarm or similar homemade ones will stop the front to back motion. A set of jacks in front of the axles will stop the up/down suspension/tire bounce.

Yup, that's it. I am getting the up and down motion as we walk through the camper. I guess it's the suspension bounce/flex that we are feeling. I don't think I was getting much front to back motion.

Oh good, I have yet another project, adding jacks, when I get home

Thanks
