19' Roo

Hi to all of you Roo owners. We are new to the club. Former pop up owners, actually we still have it (it's up for sale). Purchased the Roo during the RV show Oct. '08 and took it out on the road for the weekend the day we picked it up. It' an '09 Roo 19. I'm currently installing an Espar D4 Airtronic heater in it. FAR lower power consumption that the propane furnace, which is important to us because we dry camp. Also taking measurements of the cabinets in order to build shelves in them to improve storage capacity. Gotta be ready by April!

to what i like to call, the Roo Krew!

there are a lot of us that post on the Hybrid Explorer forum and the RV.net Hybrid forum.

if you have a lot of questions, that is a more active place to post.
the DW is from Skagit County, Wash. we own 5 acres on Camano Island that we are hoping to retire to, as soon as property values recover some.
we love Vancouver and are looking forward to doing some camping in B.C. with our Roo.

Thanks. If you like B.C and would like my humble suggestion for camping, we spent a fair bit of time camping around the Similkameen River near Keremeos, Hedley and Princeton. Fantastic in spring and late summer, and if you arfe into it, lots of forestry roads to explore in the hills.
