2008 23ss

First want to thank everyone on their comments on a few of my previous post. I am a new owner and having a bunch of questions and finding my dealership is not as helpful as I thought they would be. As the title says I just purchased a 08 23ss. I notice I have a water filter right beside the pump. I do not see any markings on it on what size filter cartridge it takes. Online, I see a few "sizes" for the cartridge. Does anyone know what size I should get? or is there a difference in size? Thanks again for all your help on this forum. I have already gained so much knowledge combing these threads.

If this is the stock filter its a proprietary system and you can't just by any cartridge style filter. I removed mine and went with a system that would allow me to change the filter with a variety of standard 10" cartridge filters. There is a ton of info on this very subject. Good luck

no, back in 2008 the filter cartridge was a universal size, not the proprietary one they have now.
I got mine at Wal-Mart for my 2007 23SS.
And never had the issues that the new style has.
the old style never had the leak issues.

It's been so long I don't remember.
It's the most common ones made.

I'm out of the state in our new TT, right now.

Awesome thanks for the info. I'll go by and see what I can find. Enjoy your trip. I'm about two weeks away from mine.

I think it's a standard whole house 10" filter cartridge
