2012 23SS Coupler Height

I just ordered a 2012 23SS and am planning to install an Equalizer hitch. Does anyone know the height from the ground to the inside top of the trailer coupler? I would like to confirm that the standard equalizer shank will work with my trailer/tow vehicle setup. Thanks in advance for any help with this.

unless you have a raised vehicle or 4-wheel drive truck, the standard shank will work.
i tow my 23SS with an '07 2wd Avalanche and i use the standard shank.

it would help knowing what you're towing with.

I am towing with an 06 Durango 5.7L V8 Hemi. The height from the ground to the inside top of the hitch receiver on the tow vehicle is 21".

I'm towing with a 02 F150 and towing a 2011 233s, which I would think would be the same coupler hieght as a 23ss. I too have an Equalizer and use the standard drop bar, actually turned up. To of the inside of the 2" reciever is approx. 20 inches, and the top of inside of the coupler is approx. 25.5" on the 233s when level. I would think that 2011 and 2012 233s and 23ss have the same frame and axles, just different layout, therefore same coupler hieght when level. The big difference is the tongue weight is higher on the 23ss. I do have room to go up if needed, to go down(if i had taller tow vehicle) I would need to turn the drop bar down. Hope this helps, I would think the standard bar should work wiht most apps. provided your not towing with some radical different.
