make sure that a hybrid really fits you and your family.
most hybrid owners are former popup owners, who want more amenities and are very familiar with the pros and cons of the canvas tent ends.
if you've never owned a popup, be aware that many newbies are drawn to hybrids because of all the sleeping capacity and extra floorspace.
but they don't think about having to deal with the canvas ends and end up selling the hybrid after one season.
we hybrid owners prefer the openness of the canvas ends, versus the "shoebox" feel of regular travel trailers and we're willing to deal with wet canvas and the occasional noisy neighbors.
