2015 Roo TV set

A friend of mine tells me that he takes his TV set out of his trailer on the winter time. Does anyone else do this? Should they be kept inside during winter months?

Thanks,
Jim

I left mine in my Roo 19 for 3 winters. It was never got above -10F for almost 3 weeks last winter. Didn't seem to hurt it.

I'm leaving the TV in my Mini Lite this year.

We took ours out last winter...our first with a camper with a tv. I've heard arguments both for and against so I figured why take a chance. We live in Indiana so we can have periods of pretty cold weather. Not International Falls cold but still below zero.

The containers that carry them across the oceans on ships, through the mountains on trains, and over our hiways on trucks, are not heated and subject to the same air temperature that your camper experiences.

I left the TV in the camper last winter along with the remotes, but removed the batteries. No problems this spring.

Our camper lives in a storage facility so I take the TV out more as an anti-theft measure than anything else.
