2016 Roo 233s Blackwater Tank

Does anyone know if they upgraded the blackwater tank in the 2016 Rockwood Roo models?

I thought I read somewhere that they now have a flushing/cleaning system built into it.

Can anyone confirm this?

I thought they added the black tank flushing system a couple of years ago. It's not a tank upgrade but a extra tank flushing mechanism with an inlet port on the trailer wall.

It should be something like this.

Interesting - Hope it's better than the "wand" I have to use now. Thanks for posting

My 2015 has the built in Black Tank Flush and I really like it.

The wand worked well on my old camper although the first time I used it I should have been wearing a face mask and snorkel

I can relate to the face mask and snorkel...

So do you just hook a hose into it and it flushes it? Sorry, I have little knowledge on black tank flushes

Check out this video of various black tank flushing products.

The factory-installed unit is the same as the Camco Tornado. You just connect a dedicated hose - not your fresh water hose - to it and turn on the water. Make sure there is a check valve or backflow preventer in the line between the hose connector and the sprayer in order to prevent possible contamination of the potable water supply

This is in my driveway. Opened the drain with a 5 gallon pail under it. Ran a garden hose from spigot (with pressure regulator attached - some here say this is unnecessary). I put an on-off on the end of the hose so I didn't have to run to the house, attached to the black flush and let her rip. Shut off after about 3 gallons and emptied in a toilet located just inside the garage and repeated.
Much easier at a dump station where you can use your sewer hose - I'll only do that if no one is waiting to use the station.
