I bought mine from ShadePro in March, and it cost $405.00 including all hardware. My friend should be coming soon to give me a hand installing it.....but it seems very easy.
As for the price, it will cost an additional $100.00 if you have it delivered at your home, or free if you have it delivered at a business which is what I did. They shipped it where I work.

Here's a link to ShadePro:

Thanks all. Think I'll have dealer install. I know if I just say I'll do it myself & get to it later, it will get put off & I'll be sorry in the long run. Another of life's lessons

I got my carefree Topper on Amazon ~$350 (topper + hardware kit).

I installed it myself on my new-to-me ROO 23ss. Pretty easy to do. (once you get past drilling a bunch of holes in your new camper! )

This is the best pic I have showing how it came out.

Two reasons to have these, first is it helps keep your roo a bit cooler on the inside as you don't have direct sunlight on the roof area of your slide out. Second reason is to keep twigs, leaves and other debris from collecting on the roof of the slide out which in turn could potentially damage the seal on top when you bring the slide out back in. Plus the debris will end up in a variety of areas inside your camper while traveling.

Picked up our Roo yesterday. So glad we got the Slide Topper installed. Thought of climbing up to clean the top of the slider each time before we pulled er in not enjoyable. Just wish I'd had it done at the factory - cheaper way to go.. So far enjoying it. Only small minor things amiss. I shoulda been a bit more of a hard ass during the PDI. Too soft in my old age. Gonna spend a few nights in her over the long weekend in the backyard

That's awesome. Have a great time. Our new 233S that replaced our 21SS is all deployed in the driveway awaiting tent end wetting down tomorrow. We loved our 21SS. I'm sure you'll love yours too.

Two reasons no to have it. Makes it hard to inspect the roof twice a year for warranty and if stuff does get in there its a pain to get it out especially on a long slide. Just my 2 cents.

On our 08 Roo 21SS there was 6-8 inches between the slide and the topper. It was easy to see and maintain. You can always reach it from the inside with the slide pulled in. Always checked when I put the slide locks in.
