I say it could be 1) not wired properly 2) defective or 3) hidden fused (I hate hidden fuses, had one on my roo for the water pump!)

as far as i know, since no Roo/Shamrock comes with an inverter, the USB ports won't work without 110v AC power from a shoreline or a generator.

as far as the 12v port, that could just be a bad wire or bad outlet that would need to be checked by a multimeter.

Dan, I installed the same charge ports in mine and they are 12v.

Well I decided to dig in a little this morning.
Pulled the charging station out and found the ground/common wire lost its wire nut/wire crimp.
So pretty easy fix just gotta run to local hardware store.

Fwiw the usb's are on the 12v system.

Glad it was an easy fix. Probably a lot easier to do yourself than going back to the dealer

Yeah defiantly easier than dragging it to dealer that's 1.5 hours away.

We do have a few small warranty issues that we will have to take it back for eventually.

One thing is the oven kept going out? We set it to 350 and after about 7 mins it would go out completely. Then we would have to relight the pilot and it would do it again after a few mins.

not that i'm defending FR but this is pretty minor when you look at what's going one, regarding QC, in the entire RV Industry.

i'm on other RV forums and i can tell you that QC is an issue with all brands and manufacturers, no matter the pricepoint or type of RV.

and what about the dealer, who's responsible for going thru the RV before they turn it over to the customer?

We were hoping that FR was a step above the others when we ordered our new Roo. It's disappointing when you read about silly little things that should have been picked up during the build.

We're Praying that the dealer will go over the rig before we arrive, so that there won't be any major issues during the PDI.

We ordered an upgrade to the 15,000 btu air cond, does anyone know how you tell the difference from inside the unit?
