If you scroll back up to post #23, you will see the rivets and washers that I used. Definitely use aluminum rivets so they wont rust.
As for caulking, yes I did use clear caulk across the bottom. I put a thick bead down before I set the plexiglass in place so it would squish in. The top of the panel is well protected by the sink counter, the back site by the splash guard and the front, well I don't see how water could get in there so I left it alone. So just caulk on the bottom.

Related to this somewhat, we took delivery of our 2016 21SS Roo Monday. Opposite the black tank outlet on the side of the camper there is a female port labeled "waste tank flush" that would accept a garden hose. Is this something new? I was going to buy a Camco Quickie Flush and install it, but maybe that is what this for?

231KSS Mods
Love all the mods you've made. I just have to mentally get by using rivets on something I've owned for 2 weeks.
On our old Shamrock183 I installed shower guards using the supplied sticky strips and they did not hold well at all.
I was having a problem with the shower curtain popping out the bottom and flooding the floor when I showered despite being extra careful, but discovered the problem was the Fantastic Fan set on high was actually pulling the curtain out. Once I stopped using the fan until after my shower, I never had another problem.

Don't think of it as "fixing". Think of it as "improving", like painting the walls of a new house. You're just making something great even better.
Rivets have become my primary attachment method when trying to anchor things inside the camper. They work wonders.

I used stainless steel wood screws with SS finishing washers like these:
Search Results forÂ*202249772Â*at The Home Depot
I put several 1x1's across the back of the cabinet for the screws to bite into. Cut the plexiglass and drill the holes carefully. It will crack easily.
If you do use rivets, do it carefully so when the rivet "pops" it doesn't crack the plastic.
Here's a pic of mine:

For anyone getting a 23IKSS Roo I did this to prevent kitchen slide from cutting into Awning
No more rubbing and if wind picks up I am protected. The packages are in plumbing isle of HD $2.97 for (4) 3 foot sections and fits tight over the top of the kitchen slide.

Does this stay on or do you need to remove the foam before you close your slide out ?

I remove them when Input the awning in and put them in the outside front storage area I think it might cause leaks if I kept them on by keeping slide from going all the way in, I am not brave enough to try that on a brand new Roo 😨

DK, how did you secure your plexiglass to the screen door? I also camp with dogs and can see the screen getting chewed up quickly by overeager pups. I orinally hoped to cut it just a bit wide of the frame and slip it into the 1/4" channel that runs the length of the frame, but now see that this placement will interfere with the opening of the access "door" to the screen door latch. Did you drill holes into the door frame?

Put Lexan in the lower and upper panels and no interference with the slide panel.

I did it exactly how you mentioned. Cut it a little wider than needed and slipped it into the channel on each side. Our dog is small so the panel is only on the lower half of the screen door. The top of the panel is secured to the black crossbar on the screen door with some sticky Velcro.

I was going to do the plexiglass on the screen door too as our dogs have already went thru the screen... I was thinking of riveting it to the frame?

Yeah, I have boxers. If they wanted, they could reach the top of the door frame ; - )

I have a 2014 21DK and am unaware of having one, if I do. Where would I find it?

Chris I "think" the black flush started in 2015. At least I can tell you I have the promotional materials from both years and it is not listed on the 2014, but it is on the 2015. Again, I could be COMPLETELY wrong...hopefully you have one.

That's a better place then mine on my 2015 233s it's in the opposite side of the trailer. Going to have to buy another hose to make it work whole st dump stations.

Probably correct. I'm not missing anything.
Is it just a hose welded into the side of the black tank?

Yes I like the Roo hot water heater, black flush, shower, city water and water fill for fresh tank all close as well as 30 amp. I hated my shady the HWH, fresh fill, city water, black flush were on the side with the doors and 30 amp was in the back I had lines all over had to carry 100 feet of hose and 60 ft of 30 amp cable
