23ws vs 24ws Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!

Made a big mistake this morning by showing a video to my DW of the new Roo 24ws.
As much as she loves our 23ws........after seeing the 24ws, her answer was:
"I WANT IT".
Hopefully she will forget about it since the value of our 23ws is now probably half of what we paid.

For those who haven't seen the video, here it is:

Opinions are welcome !

That is a nice layout. It looks a lot like the 23IKSS but with a wardrobe slide instead of the kitchen slide.

yep, much improved - I do like that counter space and number of drawers - and one of the reasons my hubby did not want us to go to the RV show this year - LOL

It's all smooth sailing now......Plus, my buddy came over in the afternoon, and we finally installed the slide out awning......I had that awning in my shed since April.

It is a new floor plan, takes awhile to change the web site. Would be nice if they made more timely updates, but all the specs would probably still be TBD.....took them quite awhile to add the 23ws, saw the camper long before they added it to the website.

Yep, the website is often months behind.
The dealer websites will have the new model pics and specs way before FR'S website will.

Never much cared for a slideout on the same side as the awning. Encroaches on the space under the awning, IMO.
I like the idea of the dinette on the same side as the sofa. If there was one thing DW always complained about when we had the 23SS - counter space. Kitchen was on the slide with the sofa.
Don't think she'll want to go with a hybrid now that she as the room we have in the MH.

When did they up the fresh water take to 43 gallons? Or is that counting the water heater?

Sometime during the 2016 model year. Earlier units still had 30 gallon tanks but later that year they came with 39 gallon. Our 2017 23WS has a 39 gallon and you can get 39 gallons into it. They include water heater capacity in the specs which is stupid as your'e never getting that water unless you drain it out the tank drain. They even get that wrong, its not 43 its 45

Also unless they changed again they are still listing the black and gray tank capacities wrong. It is not 30 but 33 gallon as they are Alpha Systems VB22548H that have 33 gallon capacity.

Just showed this to DW.
Thanks God she still loves our 23IKSS !!!
She noticed that for us (3 kids), the IKSS pantry and additional storage locker up front (the one besides the kitchen slide, by the left side of who enters the trailer, which we use for the kids clothes) are more needed.
She also loves the island....

As you see, I'll not be changing anytime soon.... (knock, knock,knock....)
