First is screw in pole sockets for the awning using famous awning brackets from OldCoot. I made these sockets by cutting the handles off of a couple of paint rollers. They were hollow so I filled them with Epoxy and drilled a hole for the bolt. They hang on the bracket all the time then I bring out my painters poles and screw them in when I set up. That way I can still use the painters poles in the winter to paint the ceiling and I don't have poles hanging on my trailer all the time.
Second is a kitchen drawer mod I put together. In my Roo there are two kitchen drawers about 10 inches deep each. No silverware drawer. I made a tray and cut part of the back of the original drawer out and mounted this tray inside the top drawer with full extension slides mounted backwards. I then open the main drawer and there is the silverware tray, then push the tray back out of the way and it reveals a lower level with more smaller stuff inside. The lower drawer is left along for pots and pans.
Yeah, that drawer mod looks like a great idea. We pick up our new IKSS tomorrow and my wife has already noticed that there is no "silverware" drawer and that the 2 drawers are really deep.
mod to the mod. The inner drawer has a tendency to move while driving so I added a screw to connect it to the front. I used a long sheet metal screw and left a screw driver in the drawer so that DW could detach it during setup. I think I will drill a couple through holes and add pins and clips to the sides walls.
