A couple of Roo 233S questions
We will be heading on a long 3 day trek to Elkhart, IN and I am trying make sure that I have thought of almost everything. We are scheduled to pick up our 233S at the end of June, which seems like it is taking forever to get here. So going over my list, I have a couple of questions regarding the Roo 233S.
First off, what size ball does the hitch require? Next what is the level height of the tongue of the tailer to the ground, top of ball to ground, so that I can have my hitch ready when I get to the dealer to do my PDI and pick up. What is the distance between the tires, not the wheel base but the distance between the closest points of the tires (checking to see whether the between tire chocks that I am making will fit).
These are a couple of questions that I have, but I am sure that more will pop up. Thanks for any help you can give me.

first, i don't think anyone on this forum has a 233S. i've only seen one 233S owner and that was on the RV.net Hybrid forum. so, i don't think you'll get any response from anyone with a 233S.
i'd assume that it requires a 2 5/16" ball since all the 23' Roos need that.
second, you didn't state what you're towing with nor the hitch receiver's height is.
i'd call the dealer to get the measurements you need.

I will be towing with a 2005 Yukon XL with WDH that has an adjustable tongue height. Thanks for your help.

I'm also looking forward to reading any info on the 233S. I just ordered one this weekend and waiting to hear a delivery date.

I bought my 233s last July and we love it. I posted a couple Mod's I did and a link to a guy named leafpeeper who has a ton of mods that can be used on the 233s. The ball is indeed a 2 5/16. Think the height was 19" but don't quote me on that. The distance between the tires is approx 4-5 inches. I pick mine up from storage next week if you need accurate measurements I can check them then. Welcome to the Roo Crew!!

I would suggest you contact your dealer as my 2009 Roo 233S uses a 2" ball. Yes I am sure and I am even providing photographic evidence. Not sure why some use a 2" and some a 2-5/16" ball.

popeye, maybe they upgraded the axles to haul more cargo. is there a difference in CCC between the 2009 and 2010 233S? that would change the ball size.

Bikendan,
Not sure about any upgrades to the axles, but I now have a concerns after seeing the tongue is only rated for 5000lbs gross when the trailer GVWR is 6200+. If I load my trailer to max GVWR, then my frame/tongue is overloaded? That doesn't sound safe either way. Anyone have a good email address so I can forward my concerns to FR?
