AC not blowing cold...help!

Air was working fine before we left our house this morning. We got to campground and set up, now air is blowing but it's not cold. What do I do?

Be sure the temperature setting on the thermostat is set low enough also.

Everything is set to cool and is low enough. We called service guy but basically all he wanted to do was change unit. Swapped out unit, but still no cold air. No condensation coming out outside either.

RV a/c's cannot be charged without altering the "plumbing" in the unit which voids the factory warranty. Typically, units low on coolant require replacing so not sure what the "tech" had in mind when he wanted to "charge it".!

PS--not sure you have a thermostat or controls on the unit itself. If you have a thermostat, is your fan set on auto? What exactly are the controls set on?

If the unit has been replaced it must be a control problem.

A few years back we had a similar problem after travelling. We did get some cool but not cold. Using a thermometer right at the main outlet of the A/C we only got a reading of 64 deg.F and this was not enough to cool the unit any lower than the outside ambient temp, which was in the mid 80's. It was discovered that the thermo sensing bulb that was supposed to be attached to the condenser had come loose. Reattaching the bulb solved the problem and it worked flawlessly for the rest of the time we owned the unit. If all else fails check this out or have someone check for it. It could save you from replacing the unit.
