Actual weights for roo 21RS

Hi,

I am looking onto our first TT purchase and we are interested in the Roo 21RS, with the convencience package. Does anyone have actual weights for this configuration as I understand that the weights on the websites are bare minimums and don't include the A/C awning etc. (Weight of water I can calculate for the fresh tank but no idea how what proportion is axle and how much is hitch)

If anyone has taken a 21RS to a scales do you have an axle weight and a calculated hitch weight, both empty and with a representative camping load would be very useful info.

Thanks
Andy

our 23' Roo weighed about 400lbs. from the factory, with the standard "options". FR calls it the UVW.
that was without a battery, water, propane and cargo.

you could add about 400lbs. to the "dry" weight and be pretty close to the 21RS's UVW.

Might want to reevaluate that UVW.

that's what i get for posting so late at nite!

i mean its UVW was almost 400lbs. OVER the 23SS's "dry" weight of 4,071lbs.

Hey Buzzmonster, we've got a 2009 21RS (And love it!).

bikendan is spot on with the uplift for the UVW at about 400 lbs. The dry weight on ours is 4064lbs, but I believe the website lists it at 3600.

Our trailer has A/C, microwave, awning, RVQ, etc, so I think that's the convenience package you speak of.

I haven't taken it for some quality time on a scale, so I can't really comment on the other weights, but will let you know if/when I find time to do so.

One consideration about the 21RS is the lack of storage space. It's enough for us to get by on, but the 23RS with it's extra storage and wider bunks would be a good option.

Good luck with your search, and happy camping!
