Add a slideout

Anyone ever add a slideout to their Roo? We have a Roo 21bh and we really like the bunkhouse floor plan but wish it had a slideout for more space. I was curious if anyone on here has ever modified their Roo by adding a slideout and how much it would cost.

while I have never done it, I think there would be significant structural issues to contend with. I am fairly certain you would be better off looking at a different trailer and paying more than adding one

I agree. To me that would be like trying to add a basement to a ranch house.

The costs of doing something like this, would exceed the value of your trailer.
I have been on various hybrid forums for over 10 years and have never seen anyone do such a huge job on theirs.
You do see many that have the old pole supported bunks, asking if they can change them to the newer cable supported style.
Which isn't possible without changing the entire frame of the trailer.
so adding a slideout would be 10x harder.

I would assume it would require extensive frame and fiberglass work along with wiring ect

Agree with all of the above. You would be a lot further ahead to trade trade the trailer.
