Anderson levelers

I have to say that after I cut about 4 inches off of on and the 45 degree angle as well I was worried how these would work. I didn't have any time to test since I cut them the morning we were leaving. When we got to the site I backed up, placed them down, rolled back onto then and checked level. Only had to get put once to check and I was level. So far so good!

Awesome! We (The Son and I) Are getting ready to do the same thing to ours. Note to anyone who doesn't know. Regardless of what your salesman tells you, These will not fit on a forest river Hybrid trailer without a mod. You can beat it with a hammer(dont ask) and you can get it to work but as a rule they do not fit between the tires. And as a side note, If the ground is to wet or even soggy, they do not have enough ground cover to hold the Trailer, I believe the low side sunk over an inch before we got the levelers to stop sinking. And of course I worried about it sinking further all weekend long. Overall, A prettty good product I think but they do have their weaknesses.

I had to cut directly in the center of the 1st hole which when I called Anderson the guy told me that was about the limit. I still carry boards and my lynx levelers just in in case

I was intrigued by that method as well. Does the one axel sag though when you go up the other?

They do work well. I found that always using a board first makes them easier to slide in and helps with sinking in soft surfaces.

Be sure to notch the corner. Doing this keeps you from having to trim too much off the other end.

For our 23IKSS I didn't even have to cut the first hole off.

We are on our 3rd camping season with the anderson levelers. After similar modifications that you have made we love them. So easy to get the side to side level.

Very well.

Just place them in front or behind the tires on the low side, then back up or pull forward onto them till the trailer is level.

Place the wedge as shown and hammer it snug.

Why do you guys cut them down? I've been using mine without issue and I haven't had to cut anything...

Sorry, disregard my post. I was just going through the "New Posts" and didn't realize this was a model specific topic. Thanks.

Some of us have a very narrow gap between our axels

This is why and what they look like after mod. Note the after mod is to make them even easier to install than the picture of the one being installed. Just cut a little more off the corner which eliminates having to cut the leading edge.
