Hi and welcome. Because you essentially want people who own the Roo 21ss in your area, I think the best placed to look would be the Roo Forum and or the Western USA forum.

I'll move this to the Roo forum for you and edit the title to reflect the question.

Good luck and

Sounds good... Just found out something really important over the last week or so... My Roo does not leak..! It even got hail today. Came through it like a champ.

Did you season it , as they say when you bought it?

Actually, I bought it slightly used. It appears to have already gone through the seasoning process since none of the seams are leaking.

It also looks to have gone through the 'New Trailer' depreciation phase, since I got a pretty good deal on it...

The only thing I missed out on is the fact that it was build in April 2012 & as a result, doesn't have the LED lighting throughout. There are worse things, I suppose...

Ya, we looked at a couple of 2010 , priced almost like new, bought new in Salt Lake City from dealer ,offered 3 grand less than he advertised. Had to go and get 3 weeks ago, not bad , long grade leaving SLC back into Wy. Did buy the weight dist. anti sway hitch. Works well.

On your trip back, did you have any problems with engine or tranny temp..? I'm thinking I may need to upgrade my Burbie some. I've only driven the Roo about 40 miles up the Ute Pass, but I did notice a rise in temp. You're right, the W/D - antisway hitch does wonders for the handling.

No did not notice that, I have a 2011 Titan 5.6, 20,000.00 miles, pulled it good. what brand hitch do you have , I have a dealer installed e-2, clanks now and then, not sure since I have never had one , if that is fairly normal.

I believe my WD hitch is also an E-2. I don't get any noise from it, though. I read somewhere in this forum that it's normal to get some creaks & groans occasionally, so I probably won't freak out if it happens. Now I just have to wash all the pine needles off the top & slide...

I live just north of Denver in Thornton/Brighton area. I have a 21ssl Roo. Have had my trailer out about 5 times this summer. Love it!

SirBob...

Any issues..? My biggest problem has been brooming the pine needles off the top of my slide. Coming up, however, will be my first winterization...

Just did 15 hours of rain on the western slope, all good. First trip, so tried unscrewing the water filter holder loose. No luck, going to try a strap wrench on it now. I noticed you can buy a debris cover for your slide, going to try that. Nice not being in tent , watching a dvd , eating cookies. warm and dry.

That's why we ended up having a slidetopper added to our 23SS's slideout.

I figured the huge awning on the other side would have been enough for me, but alas, I fear I will be needing one on the slide as well...

We plan on getting the slide cover, and a cover for the whole unit for this winter, plus wheel covers. Don't know if it is overkill , but the WIFE thinks it is best, therefore so do I.

I picked up the ADCO cover, but haven't had a chance yet to use it. I figured to put it on after dumping the tanks & winterizing. I'm also going to try the old tennis ball on the gutter trick & see how that works...
