Anybody have issues closing up the sofa bed?

Hi everybody!

We just became new RVers, as well as full-timers. We've been easing into it pretty well with just a couple of bumps along the way. One thing that has stumped us is the sofa bed. Pulling it out is no problem, but it doesn't want to lock back into place. I already had the dealership glance at it, but they just told my hubby that it just needed more force to lock it. I wish I had them show me because I'm pushing and pushing with no luck. Anybody else have this issue or can tell me what we're doing wrong? Thanks!

it would help if you posted what year, make and model of hybrid you have or put in below, in your sig line so it's always there.
sometimes models have different types/brands of sofas.

We own a 23IKSS and had a similar problem. The inflatable air matress slumps towards the bottom of the couch during the closing process, making it impossible to retract to couch fully.

We have a Rockwood and have had issues with the bed folding back into the travel config.
Eventually I found that after you have the bed sections folded, the legs folded down and are ready the park it down inside , you have to wiggle the folded frame gentily from one side or the other to get the frame lined up with what seems to me is a slot, from there it slides in easily.
Play with that and see what happens, I know it's frustrating.

As you can see, nurver, there are different kinds of sofas in FR products and there will be non-hybrid owners chiming in.
I'm guessing you might be talking about a jacknife sofa.
but a better description or pics of it, would help figure out which type of sofa you have.

Welcome to the forums from SW Idaho.

Is the sofa in the vid like the one you have?
