We went straight from tent camping to the hybrid and love it! My husband was skeptical, but after our recent family vacation/camping trip, has decided it was a good decision on our part (and actually said he was glad I was persistent)! Ours is a 2013 Roo 21SS - we have not had any leak problems with the tent ends. We did invest in the PUGs, which we like. We have had it out a half dozen times and are just so happy with it!

Since then no problems.
In case it wasn't clear - We love our Roo 233S

The only leak we have had since it left the lot was the skylight and that was covered by a recall.

My 2011 Roo 233s had leaked, FR replaced the bunk end which makes me a happy camper, but still ready to upgrade. Camping with 5 kids solo, I'd like less set up. Every camper line and brands have some issues sometime.

Look at a new Roo on a lot the other day. Do any of you have the new plastic door latches and do they work good? Seem a little cheap to me.

I have had mine since May and camped about 12 days without any issue so far. I am not familiar with the old latch so nothing to compare to.

We have the new latches and have had no issues. I think if used carefully shouldn't be a problem. If trying to force the bed/ latch closed then something is probably not closed up properly

I saw a thread where the latch broke at the dealer! Plastic and latches... Is anyone thinking? Reminds me of ABS roofs...
