This is what I was looking into. CW sells a table that folds down pretty small but looks like it makes a pretty decent coffee table. With the floor real-estate in front of the couch, I think this is the route we are going to go.

We also looked into adding folding shelves on the side of fridge next to the dining table. Ones that fold flat and will stay out of the way of the slide-out. Another idea was to set something up inside like there is outside with the table that attaches next to the grill. Many ideas but nothing implemented yet. Just thought I'd share them.

Thanks for the responses everyone. My stove top is glass so we put a towel over it and then used it as countertop space. I had to move the dinette closer to the front bunk to use as a coffee station and breakfast nook for my daughter to eat breakfast. One day i just set up the coffee maker outside and that worked fairly well.

I was thinking of making something on a hinge where a table of sorts swings up, but also swings out so that it sits in front of the stove. Basically makes an L shape counter top. I have no idea if they make those hinges, and I'm not very mechanically inclined lol.

Mine is glass and we use the sink cover over it and throw the coffee maker and other odds and ends there.

This has me thinking of a mod....have to take some measurements and see. Want to see if I can build a removable counter to fit over the sofa. If you know it wont be needed that would be a huge amount of space. If it's needed I want it to be easily removable......oh fun fun

So here is a shot in the dark- how about two vertical poles with flanges both ends. Secure to the floor and ceiling on flange ends. These are mounted to end of sofa side of doorway. Fabricate a lightweight counter section fit with hinges to the poles and a swing down leg. I have no dimensions but it seems it could be 24" deep by 26" wide useful space only owhen you need it.

Looking at the floor plan of your model, I would think that a folding shelf on the side of the fridge near the slide would be your best bet.

I did a folding shelf on the side of our stove cabinet that is one of those particle board shelves with the veneer on it. Think it is about 12" wide but had to cut it to length since it was longer than the stove cabinet was deep. Just put the cut end toward the slide and no one can tell it has been cut. With the fridge being a deeper cabinet in your case, you probably won't have to cut the premade shelf at all. Got everything I needed at Home Depot.

Checkout this site for hinges, and go to Home Depot and get a melamine shelf board and cut to specs... Or, have a handy friend do it!

You could also try a small roll around island, and just park it where needed.

Our 233S came with a small table that hangs outside on a channel. I bought a section of the same channel and mounted it in front of the sink. So now I can put that shelf there. It isn't much but it does help... We also will sometimes put our coffee maker up by the TV since there is an outlet there.
