Actually, since this thread is in the Hybrids and Expandables section, 1/2 tons are the overwhelming choice. Very few tow a hybrid with a 3/4 ton.

Stand corrected, thanks.... So how come there are so few references to Tundras? Maybe 'cause they are so reliable and generally stronger TV's so don't create the problems the rest of you have?

(This is tongue in cheek, Dan. Pull it if you want - or move it to the joke thread :-)

No need to move. Its pretty mild compared to many truck brand wars posts.

Personally, I can tell you why I eliminated Tundras and Rams from my truck search that lasted 3 years.
I wanted a 1/2 ton 4x4 crewcab that had better payload capacity, than my Avalanche.
Tundra's and Rams were by far, the worse in payload capacity. The lowest I saw was a Tundra with a payload of only 800lbs. Shocking![emoji32]

I have no brand loyalty, I simply look at what I get for the money. The F150 3.5 Ecoboost with Max Tow package was easily the best choice for me.
