Anyone with a (2013) Roo 21ss?

Hey everyone, New to the forum and I was just wondering if any one has a NEW(2013) 21ss as I am awaiting mine from the factory still. Is there anything to look out for when doing the walkthrough and or while camping for the first couple of time? I am planning on pulling this camper with a 08 Tacoma double cab. Anyone with the same set up I would like to hear your comments. Thanks for all the help and great ideas on this forum. Happy Camping!!!

there are a number of 21SS owners here and on the Shamrock sub-forum, that should be posting.

i own a 23SS, which is similar weight. unless you live in Florida or Iowa, your Toy will struggle through the mountains.
you should be within specs but expect some issues pulling with a v-6.

Welcome redrider13!!!!

I've got a 2013 21SS too. Picked it up in February and we are looking forward to taking it to FL for spring break. Been getting it set up and are almost ready.

We have a 2013 21ss. We had a issue with the door latches. Screen door latch screws were stripped, I just used a new screw and fixed it. Also the bathroom door latch would not stay shut. Got worse if the RV was not level. Was a easy fix. And that is really IT for us. I really think they fixed the bunk end leak problems with the 2013. As for camping, make sure you have a long enough fresh water hose (white one), because the inlet is in the front of the RV and some campgrounds the faucet is farther than you think.
Have fun with you new RV
