Last year we spent two months in Florida so had 89. More than usual. We are retired and hope to get 40 or 50 this summer. Canadian camping seasons are short!

We both work full time but manage to take 2 different 5-7 day trips plus another 9-10 trips of 3-4 days ....
stay in Florida except for one out of state in the beginning and only seem to repeat locations for waterfront or music festivals ....so many places to try!

Camping Nights Per Year

I am fortunate that my job allows of lots of time off. I am a college professor so I don't work in the summers at all, and we get a week for Easter, and then some generous time off for the end of the year. Last summer 2015 we did 110 days, and our best year ever was around 210 days. We live in a tourist attraction rich area of Michigan with lots of state parks, and quite often I camp at a state park, and commute to work, and even in the winters sometimes.

We are newbies. We just started camping in Sep of 2012.
2012 4 days
2013 15 days
2014 17 days
2015 21 days
2016 2 days scheduled for 15 so far.
We too have that problem called full time jobs. Seems to limit the fun ALOT.

We average over 50 nights each year. It helps having a site all summer long. Come 4:00 on Friday and we are heading out. A couple of hours later, we are camping and chilling out down on the river. We can't wait, come on summertime.

In 2012 and 2013, we had about 34 nights combined. But we didn't get the camper till the end of july 2012 and it was totaled by hail and hauled off in july of 2013.
2014 we had 52 nights
2015 we had 54 nights
We have permanent/seasonal so thats were we spend most of our weekends.

Last year we had 144...in 2014 we had 121. We are fortunate that my wife has a once-a-month business/shop at the Canton (Texas) First Monday Trade Days so we're out there 8 or 9 days out of each month.

Plus last year we spent most of the month of June in Florida...this summer we'll spend a couple of weeks in Port Aransas, Texas along with various other trips here and there.

As we are both retired, we spend most of each summer RVing. We'll do more than 120 nights this year, which is about out average for the last 3 years. We rarely spend more than 5 nights in any one place. We are happy to leave the heat and humidity of the south for the coasts of WA, OR and CA.

DH and I are both retired, but we still have kids in school, so we only average about 100 days of camping each year for the last 4 years. Before that, we averaged about 30-40 days, which were mostly weekends only with a week or two of vacation.

10-15...we both work owning our separate businesses - i work most weekend and she works several weekday evenings, no paid vacation.

And 2 kids, teen and pre-teen, and i suspect (hope?) the teen gets a job this summer.

so it limits our time.
