Avg of How Many Nights You Camp per year

With exceptions of full timers what is the average Nights you camp in a year? I get 5 weeks vacation but only use 3-4 broken up for camping and I can't seem to camp more than 30 Nights per year, I also have a 2 Zone Thousand Trails membership but camp 6 or so days out of that? Also this is only my 3rd year camping with an RV did about 15-20 in tents.

Might not be the best place to post this but it seems to get a lot of hits in this forum?

The last couple years I think we've been out around 20-25 nights per year.

This year we'll have 8 over the 4th of July alone, but planning on hopefully another 8-10 on weekend trips, and then another 8-10 when we leave it sit at a county park for a month this August.

I switched jobs and lost a week of vacation, so we can't be quite as liberal with 4 day weekends as we have been.

30-40 sounded about right but last year scooped up a seasonal site 5 minutes from work. Saves 1 hr commute each way every day. Took 2 weeks out to the east coast first 2 weeks of July and camped until thanksgiving (Cdn). Lovin it and gas savings pays for it. No brainer. Also answered the question "could we live full time in a 30' 5er?" Yup!!

Wife and I have this terrible habit of having Jobs, so we average only about 20 nights a year!

Average 100 to 120 depending on the weather. We are both retired and love our traveling and exploring.

This year we will be doing 60 nights. Yep we both retired but these days pretty much take us through the year. Out almost every month and yes we also enjoy the travels now. Later RJD

Yeah that is the same problem we have although that problem allows me to camp, if I didn't have that problem I wouldn't be camping....lol

The family and I camped 66 days including a couple of weeks last year. This year hoping for the same or more.
However we have a permanent site. looking forward to April 1st when the campground fully opens up.

31 last year plus another 14 in the in-laws yard for various holidays. They have full hook-ups in the yard used for their 5'ver . We have 25 scheduled so far this year.

My averages have been all over the board - 30/50/50/100 nights in the first 4 years of doing it.

Went fulltime last June, so I don't count any more.

Like you, Wicked, we live north of the Mason Dixon, so that limits the season. Most cg's up here don't open until May and close around Columbus Day. Also, with 2 dd's in school, we're limited to weekend camping during the school year. We normally icebreaker at a KOA in April, but this year, dw wants to go from New England to "olde" England for the dds' spring break. So, last year, 2015=40 days. 2016= ~30.

We usually get in about 30, but since we are buying a hybrid and selling the Pop-up, we have about 36 planned so far, and may add a few. Wife is a teacher so she is off summer with the kids. I am not so lucky;-}

Only 29 so far this year. We will see about 100 - 120..... Don't hook it up for less than a week. Very little during summer when school is not in session, but that is the time to have the boat on the Atlantic anyway.
