Changed out my own axle.... that did not come with hub/brake assembly. I changed over the hubs/brakes to the new axle.
Not hard to do if you have a friend or two. Flat area to work, Heavy Jack stands, floor jack. Basic tools to remove/replace axle to leaf springs.
If you do not want to change your own axle. Look for an independent RV shop or trailer shop. A shop that knows what they are doing will take about 2-3 hours. No messings with changing over hubs and brakes. Lift up unit... snip wires, drop old axle, roll out of way. Roll in new axle, attach to leaf springs (this would be a good time to replace the leafspring Bushings before attaching new axle) Re-attach wires... test wiring/ brakes... drop unit on the ground and good to go...
MY estimate... no more than 400.00
