Backup camera mount?

I'm in the market for a backup camera on my Shamrock 21DK. I'd use it for both rear-view while driving and backup in the campground. It seems to me that wired from the rear to a wireless transmitter in the front would be a good combination of reliability and convenience.

Because I want a view of the road behind me and also want IR capability, I'm thinking a surface mount above the bunk door would work best. Considering that, can anyone share wisdom about how to wire it? I assume we're talking about drilling a hole through the back wall?

How secure is it to screw the base into the exterior wall? The material of the wall doesn't seem like it would be very strong. Won't the screw pull out due to road wind?

I have a 21DK. The rear bathroom wall may provide a means for me to route the wire down the wall to where I could then route it forward along with other wiring a plumbing. The rear shelf above the bunk may also come into play. But what to use as a power source? And where to mount the front transmitter?

Thanks in advance for any gems of wisdom.
