Backup camera mount?

I plan to order a backup camera from TadiBrothers. It will be a standard "birds-eye view" rv camera. I understand that it should mount near the center clearance light and get power from it, but where does the wireless transmitter go? It looks like a messy bundle of wires.

Also, does it just screw into the sidewall? Should I be concerned about road vibration causing the screws to loosen?

When I get my new trailer I'm going to mount mine above the bumper and hard wire it to the truck. I have other cameras and monitors from tadi brothers and have never had any issues with any of their equipment. I have one of thier license plate camera I may use and just get the mirror mount monitor.

Since I wrote that I've narrowed my plans but still could benefit from others' advice. I'm planning to get a birds-eye view camera and to mount it below the center clearance light. That way I can control it by turning the running lights on or off.

I've been assured by the sales folks at Tadi Brothers that the camera will be secure if I screw it into the sidewall. Can other readers confirm that? Also, how do I waterproof the puncture in the wall? I'm thinking I'll drill a pilot hole, put a dollop of silicone on it, then put the camera in place and screw it down. The silicone will seal the hole. I'll wipe off the excess that oozes out around the mount, and put another dollop on top of the screw head.

Will that work? Is there a better approach? I'll get their wireless transmitter which I'm told can be bundled up behind the camera and won't be an unsightly mess. True? And how do those tolerate being permanently exposed to the weather? (I live in Florida. The risk of freezing is rare but the sun is merciless)

I plan to buy the Rand McNally 7730 GPS and a wireless receiver. I may buy another camera for the back of the TV to aid hitching, but the cost means that won't be immediate. I know the GPS handles only one camera connection. I'll use the hitch camera infrequently. I don't think it will be a hassle to simply unplug one and plug in another, at the GPS.

I just installed a wireless camera in my Sunseeker but mounted the camera on the inside of rear window. Just came back from first trip with camera and worked great no problems with signal strength. Also easy install from inside.

Unfortunately for that approach, the hybrid doesn't have a rear window. I also heard that IR would be blocked by the glass? I don't know for a fact.
