For water, sewer, electric and cable I carry a max of 75 feet for all. Has saved my bacon many times.

I carry and use two shore power cords since I have two 30A inlets & an 30A extension. You can carry a spare 30A extension and cut the end off and add the needed female end for a shore power cord if in a bind.

I used to carry an 30 amp 25 ft extension, and in 10 years, only used it once. Now that I have a 5th, I'm only going to have the 50 amp cord that came with it. It's about 30 feet long and weighs a ton.

I carry a 30A extension cord, as well as a 30-15 converter and a 30-50 converter. I'll probaby pick up a 30A end soon, to be able to repair the original cable if that becomes necessary. I'm in the "Id-rather-have-it-and-not-need-it" camp. YMMV

No back up but I do carry an extension cord that could be made into a power cord by cutting off the female plug and wire it in.
