Has anyone inatalled Bal stabilizers on a 21SS? I bought two sets but am struggling to find a place to mount them. Any help would be appreciated.

BAL Lock-Arm Stabilizing Bar - BAL 23216 - Stabilizing Jacks - Camping World

It came with scissor jacks. I wanted tobadd the stabilizers to the jacks to stop some of the rocking.

have you tried tandem wheel chocks first?
that's what most of us have done and it cures nearly all the movement.
and i have a 23SS and don't even have the scissor jacks for stabilizers.
i have what are basically pictured in the CW ad that you linked and have never needed such bars after using tandem wheel chocks.

I made a pair of between the tire chocks that helped alot. Still have some movement though and was hoping to take it down some more. My wife seems to be sensitive to it.

I haven't seen anybody do this on a Roo, but interestingly enough in the reviews on the CW site, one of them is from somebody who says they put them on 23' Roo (don't say which model). There isn't a whole lot of frame under there to work with, but hopefully you can find a suitable mounting location.

And the description says "easy bolt on installation" ....

Hmmm I'm not sure...those stabilizers are typically for larger TT & 5ers.

The x-chocks should absolutely stop all fore-aft rocking...is the swaying happening when your wife is in the bunk end or other end of the unit? If so, I wonder if some sort of centerline brace could be rigged?

If you wind up not needing the stabilizers and can't return them, message me - I might be interested if the price is right

FYI, there is a BIG difference between home made between the tire chocks and a BAL X-Chock:

http://www.amazon.com/BAL-28012-X-Ch...ds=bal+x+chock

The Bals absolutely immobilize your wheels (they also make the best wheel chocks out there! Put em on before you unhook

Wow! I read the second review on Amazon for these chocks and the man said he over tightened them and blew two tires!

I wonder what he was using to tighten them-- a pneumatic impact wrench? LOL

You get a ratchet wrench with the BALs-turn to one side tightens, flip it over to untighten.

I have been using these chocks for over 8 years (in fact this set is off the 7 year old TT I sold last year

I have never so much as cut a tire with these chocks....and I really can't imagine just HOW much you would have to over tighten to blow a tire - if that was even mechanically possible with a BAL!
