Barker 3500 Does Not Fit Roo 19

I am so bummed that I test fit my new Barker 3500 jack on my 2014 Roo 19 and found that the jack is 23.5" from frame to top of jack and from the frame to the bottom of the bunk is 23.5". Sounds like a fit but I don't think it is a good idea for the bed to rest on the jack which will happen when we are in the bed. I could look at modifying the jack by removing the level and shaving the top of the jack which sounds like a bad idea.

I am curious with the other Roos if the bed is higher above the floor. I will call Barker on Monday and check on the barker 3000 which I think is a little shorter. My tongue weight is less than 600# so this should not be an issue but I was hoping for the additional capacity.

I'm in the same boat as you. The 3500 is too tall for my 233s so I'll have to go to the 3000.

Is there something special about the barker 3500 I should know about? I have the 2013 Roo 233s. My jack was replaced by the dealer with an upgraded model due to the factory installed one going out.

I am not sure the 3000 is any shorter. My plan now is to remove the cap with the level before dropping the bed. This picks up a 1/2" which may be enough. I may add the jack cover to protect the fiberglass.

After doing a bit of digging, the 3000 has a diameter of 2" while the 3500 is 2 1/4". I love this jack and might have to deal with just popping off the level and plate. I'll probably just throw a towel or something on top of the housing when the bunk is down. There's maybe a 1/4" of space but with people in the bunk it'll end up resting on the jack.
